StreetCue support

Location permission

Open iPhone Settings, choose Privacy & Security, Location Services, then StreetCue. Allow location while using the app. If Reduced Accuracy is enabled, StreetCue labels the state and can request temporary precise access for the current task.

No street or address yet

Coordinates can appear before street lookup completes. Street information may need a network connection and can be delayed or unavailable. Cached information is labeled instead of being presented as current.

Direction looks different

Movement direction comes from GPS course and is most useful while moving. Facing direction comes from the compass. StreetCue keeps them separate because they answer different questions.

Widgets and Live Activity

Touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen, choose Edit or Customize, and add StreetCue. Widgets are system-budgeted snapshots, not continuous GPS displays. On Apple Watch, choose StreetCue in a compatible watch-face complication slot for a shortcut to the app.

A Live Activity must be started by you in StreetCue and uses app-supplied updates; it cannot independently obtain GPS. Precise location is hidden by default. The app ends its session after one hour while it is running; if the app is terminated, an old card may remain under Apple’s system rules, with its reading age still shown. End the session in the app when finished.

Purchases

Use Restore Purchases from StreetCue Pro after reinstalling or changing devices. Production subscriptions are not available until App Store launch is verified.
